It is HIGHLY encouraged that each music student purchase a Smartmusic subscription on their home computer. First and foremost, Smartmusic is the most innovative personal practice tool ever created. Secondly, some programs will require numerous assignments that will need to be submitted through Smartmusic. Students may submit these assignments using the school's practice room subscriptions. However, it is quicker and easier to complete and submit these assignments at home. Furthermore, those students who will be participating in solo/ensemble contest will find Smartmusic to be an indispensable tool in their preparation.

Instrument and Accessory Retailers

Students with instrument repairs, or who would like to order accessories or supplies have several options. Above are several local and online music retailers. For students needing repairs or who would like to place a local order can go to Bridge of Harmony in downtown Brainerd. Students wanting repairs or products from Eckroth Music can always stop by Eckroth Music during their normal business hours, or, for those families that do not travel often to Saint Cloud, MN, Eckroth Music does send a road representative to Brainerd generally every other week. Students wishing to order supplies should call the store, order and pay, then mention to the workers that you would like their road representative to deliver the items. For repairs students should drop of their instrument with their instructor, it will then be delivered to Eckroth, repaired, and returned. NOTE: this method can take longer than if the instrument is dropped off at Eckroth by the student.
